VP of Purchasing, you will support the Division President with
attaining strategic division initiatives by developing,
implementing and achieving annual operating plans.Your
Responsibilities on the Team
- Lead, coach, mentor and manage individuals and teams to ensure
top performance of all team members in achieving desired results
while finding efficient and effective solutions that create overall
organizational value.
- Integral part of leadership team in developing, executing and
measuring strategic plans and objectives to ensure achievement of
business plan goals.
- Jointly responsible for overall performance of divisions
purchasing operations ensuring annual operating objectives and
profit targets are met within capital utilization and risk
parameters as defined in business plans.
- Provide analysis and information on regional projects and
initiatives to leaders for all aspects of purchasing
operations.
- Ensure contractual and other commitments are kept and
compliance to company policies, procedures, ethical standards,
applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure project and initiative and financial goals are
achieved.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all
potential and existing trade associates and suppliers.
- Participate in quarterly Ops reviews with divisional team to
review division's performance and strategize on forward
opportunities.
- Understand the markets of operation, surrounding areas, and
competition and recommend differentiation strategy.Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field required, MBA
preferred.
- Minimum 10 years' experience Home Building Industry at an
executive level, preferably with strategic oversight,
required.
- Proven ability to identify business initiatives and drive
execution.
- Ability to lead and influence executive level
stakeholders.
- Must have a strong finance background including the ability to
understand and assess financial reporting.
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
- Valid Auto Insurance Coverage.
- Computer literacy and proficient in MS Office products (Word
and Excel).
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally
and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent follow-up, communication (written and verbal) and
time management skills.
- Must have solid negotiating skills.
- Up to 50% travel.General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:We
reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position
to range from an annual salary of $123,407.90 - $204,037, subject
to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee
qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of
labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.This position
may be eligible for bonuses and commissions, and will be eligible
for the described benefits listed in accordance with Company
